Albert Hotel - Kirkwall

The beds were comfortable here, and the rooms were nicely furnished and amazing. The location was easy and exceptionally nice, within easy walking distance of The Orkney Museum.

Location close enough to the bus station and tourist info, the late ferry and all the restaurants and the town. Outstanding and wonderful room with a large bed.

The hotel was located not far from attractions, shopping, and public transportation and town centre. The staff were well-mannered and skilled and the location was excellent anywhere near or overlooking the bars. There was an attached restaurant nearby. The breakfast had a wide range of selection, the food was good.

Overall the room was warm and quiet.

Overall an amazing stay for the wedding I was attending on time. Good and unbeatable location on the sea front and lovely view. Short walk to Easy to walk about the town, and the center of Town. Newly decorated and reasonably large rooms with very comfy beds, central heating, multi-channel TV, and a sitting area...

I loved the cozy vibe and the delicious steak at the restaurant! Perfect location near shops. It's a win-win!

Comfortable Stay with Excellent Service

The reception staff were really nice too assist us. Dinner at the hotel was really nice with generous portions. A tip , secure parking in advance due to limited availability.

The hotel's location was perfect, providing easy access to the harbor and local shops. I particularly enjoyed the hearty breakfast with local produce. The room was spacious and clean. The bar area can get a bit noisy during weekends.

This place was a proper fit for a quick trip in Kirkwall with the best value for money ratio. The large, comfortable bed made for a great night's sleep after exploring. Make a reservation at Helgi's pub nearby for dinner-it's worth it.

I was charmed by the hotel's tasteful decor, which elegantly combined traditional and modern elements. The spacious common areas were easily accessible as a senior guest.

More staff presence at reception would be beneficial.

The hearty breakfast showcased quality local produce, a great way to start each day! The only downside was the limited parking options in the area.

Our room was spacious and very clean. The bathroom was another high point with a generous bathtub and nice seating area. The beds were comfy, and I slept really well each night. Just a heads-up, though, you might hear some noise from the neighbors, it's not too bad but can be noticeable.

The handmade pasta at the restaurant was divine, showcasing local ingredients. Plus, the cozy bar area had a lovely vibe-perfect for winding down after a day of exploring. Great breakfast selection too!

During my 4-night stay, I loved how the breakfast was hearty and featured local produce. The staff were super accommodating and friendly.
